Find out about a digital solution to capturing and storing memories with Christian Brock, founder of Virtual Memory Box.

Many care-experienced adults return to local authorities hoping to piece together missing parts of their childhoods. Sadly, with physical memories often lost and case notes lacking personal detail, the answers they seek are rarely found.

With support from the Department for Education, Virtual Memory Box partnered with South Tyneside Council to tackle this issue. Together with children, carers, and professionals, they co-produced a digital platform that gives young people in care a safe, personal space to capture and organise their memories.

Following a successful year-long pilot, Virtual Memory Box has become the leading digital life story tool for local authorities across the UK, supporting tens of thousands of children and young people.

In this live session, Co-founder Christian Brock will share their journey and demonstrate how Virtual Memory Box is transforming the way memories are preserved in care.
