The aim of this section is to support a child or young person to think about themselves and to understand how they see themselves.
This theme can also be a starting point for the My favourite things theme. It can enable you to develop a deeper understanding of how the child or young person sees themselves.
Approaches and creative ideas to help you facilitate this session
Ask the child or young person to think of a word or phrase starting with each letter of their first name to describe themselves.
E.g. Dawn:
Dynamic
Awesome
Wonderful
Nice
Reflect on the words they have chosen together. Encourage the child or young person to draw images to represent each word.
